I would like to send my warmest wishes to everyone around the world who is celebrating Christmas.

In this time of joy and giving we must not forget those who face persecution or live in poverty. It is crucial now more than ever before that people from all faiths come together to bring about greater understanding and mutual acceptance particularly in parts of the world where there are tensions.
