As we welcome in the year 2014 I would like to send my best wishes to everyone across the world.

As we have seen over the past year, there is still much misunderstanding, hatred, extremism and conflict across the world.

In 2014 it is imperative that we have greater dialogue across faiths and cultures to bring about reconciliation, understanding and mutual acceptance.

During the year ahead the Iman Foundation, with its unique global reach, will play a bigger role on the world stage to promote dialogue between civilisations and to challenge extremism.

Together we can help to bring peace and harmony in the world.
