I would like extend my very best wishes to Christians across the world, of all denominations, who are celebrating Easter this weekend.

At this time of reflection and merriment, let us recommit ourselves to showing compassion and generosity to those around the world who still face hardship and persecution.

Let all faiths come together to bring about greater understanding and mutual acceptance; particularly in parts of the world where there is conflict.
