Iman Chairman's 2014 Chinese New Year Message

As we countdown to the start of New Chinese Year, which begins on January 29 and marks the start of the year of the horse - I would like to send my best wishes to everyone across the world who will be celebrating.

The spirit of the horse is recognized to be the Chinese people's ethos – making unremitting efforts to improve themselves. It is energetic, bright, warm-hearted, intelligent and able.

The Chinese New Year tradition is about families coming together, reconciliation, peace and harmony. It is with that in mind we must also reach across civilisations through dialogue to achieve understanding and mutual acceptance in the world.
