Iman Chairman calls for religious pluralism in the Middle East in speech to the Conservative Foreign & Commonwealth Council

Ribal Al-Assad, Chairman of the Iman Foundation, this week spoke about promoting pluralism, democracy and freedom in the Arab world in a speech to the Conservative Foreign & Commonwealth Council (CFCC) at a central London venue. The speech was warmly received and followed by a comprehensive Q & A session.
The event was attended by many members of the CFCC and hosted by its executive including the Chairman, Sir Ronald Halstead CBE, Vice Chairmen, Sir Michael Craig Cooper CBE TD DL, Mr Peter Friedmann and the Hon. Secretary, Mrs Melissa Crawshay-Williams.
The purpose of the CFCC is to provide a forum for the discussion of international foreign relations to promote greater understanding and awareness.
