Beirut: Iman holds Iftar party

The Iman Foundation held its annual Ramadan Iftar in Beirut, which was attended by a number of religious, political, and social figures, in addition to mayors, representatives of MPs Sheikh Sami Gemayel and Dory Chamoun. The attendees also included Dr Saadallah Ardo, the head of the Kataeb Baalbak-Hermel District; Sheikh Abbas Al-Jawhari, the head of the Independent Scholars’ Gathering; Hajj Fadi Younis, the head of the National Gathering in Baalbak-Hermel; Mr Mohammad Murad, the head of the Zakat Fund in Akkar and the Future Movement committee member; Sheikh Saleh Hamed, the head of the Association of Thought and Life in Miniyeh; representatives of the Kataeb Party and the National Liberal Party and many other distinguished guests.
The host Sheikh Mohammad Al-Hajj Hassan, the Iman Foundation's President for the Middle East, made a speech in which he called on the world to reject extremism and sectarianism, and to work to build bridges to strengthen international understanding and co-existence.
