Amb. Mohamed El-Orabi (Egypt)

Amb El-Orabi Most is a former Foreign Minister of Egypt.

After a highly distinguished career in the Egyptian Army Amb. El-Orabi joined the foreign service in 1976 during which he served in a number of posts including the United States, Kuwait, the UK and Israel where he was the Deputy Head of mission.

He also served as the Ambassador to Germany and was awarded the Large Cross of Merit of the Federal Order of the President of the Republic of Germany.

After leaving the foreign service he became Chief of the Cabinet of the Foreign Minister as well as Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs.

During his career Amb. El-Orabi also served as Chairman of the G13, a group of 13 Ambassadors from different continents whose aim was to foster the idea of tolerance between cultures. He is also a Member of the Board of Executives "Cairo 2050" Development Project.

He holds a Master in Business Administration from Cairo University.
