IMAN and ICD to host joint Conference on Cultural Diplomacy
Mardi, 5 novembre 2013The Annual Conference on Cultural Diplomacy is the world's leading event in the field of cultural diplomacy Co-hosted and organized by the Institutes Cultural Diplomacy and The IMAN Foundation.
The conference will bring together heads of state & leading politicians, senior diplomats, leading governmental officials, senior academics, renowned authors, journalists, and celebrated artists including an interdisciplinary group of participants traveling to Berlin from all over the world to discuss Cultural Diplomacy in our interdependent world. The 2013 event will include parallel large-scale events dedicated to the fields of cultural diplomacy & international relations, peace building, human rights, arts and culture.
The 2013 Annual Conference on Cultural Diplomacy will be held in the framework of the event series on Cross Continental Cooperation; The Annual conference will be the fourth event in the series. Ranging from broad topics of discussion to specific areas within the field of Cultural Diplomacy, the annual conference will provide a wide and detailed analysis of Cultural Diplomacy for 2013.
Conference Agenda
The main goal of the ICD/IMAN Annual Conference on Cultural Diplomacy is to provide an annual review on the progress, impact, development and future of the field of Cultural Diplomacy. With such increasing prominence in the international system, discussion on Cultural Diplomacy in such an arena is vital and the ICD/IMAN hope to facilitate new tools to promote and strengthen international relationships, empower the younger generation, contribute to academic literature and create a forum for valuable discussions on the future of Cultural Diplomacy.
The 2013 Annual Conference will explore the contributions of Cultural Diplomacy, while using the arts and culture to promote Cross Continental Cooperation & Democracy Promotion, successful peace building & reconciliation, human rights, multiculturalism and successful international relations.

Participant Papers
The Conference Committee encourages academic research and analysis of issues related to the goals of the Conference. The Conference Committee would therefore like to welcome the participants of the conference to submit a paper they would like to be considered for presentation at the conference as well as being included in the proposal document that will be issued following the conference and will be sent to all governments and leaders of the international community worldwide.
Certificate of Attendance
All conference participants will be awarded an official certificate of attendance upon completion of the program, which will provide details of the speakers who took part and the topics discussed. Each certificate will be signed by members of the Conference Committee.
