Lebanon: Iman delegation meets with Bishop Shahe Panossian

Sheikh Mohamed Hajj Hassan, Vice-Chairman and President of the Iman Foundation for the Middle East, recently met with the Armenian Orthodox Primate of Lebanon, Bishop Shahe Panossian.

As well as discussing the importance of inter-faith and inter-cultural dialogue they spoke about the dangers posed by extremist and sectarian ideologies.

After their meeting they made a joint statement condemning violence and imploring all religions to work together to bring about mutual understanding, peace and justice.
