After speaking to students about Syria and the Middle East at the nearby Worcester Polytechnic Institute, IMAN Chairman Ribal Al-Assad visited the Worcester Art Museum. Ribal was taken on a guided tour by Director Emeritus Mr. James Welu and Mr. Hank Rose. The range of artefacts on display was "very impressive," he said after the tour.

The Worcester Art Museum houses over 35,000 works of art dating from antiquity to the present day, representing cultures from all over the world. The Museum opened in 1898 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and is the second largest art museum in New England.
